Description
The ganxet bean is unique in the world because it is grown only in a small area of Catalonia. In calsotada it accompanies meats. Instead of potato, mongetes. The way to cook them is very simple.
Recipe: Open the pot of mongetes and clean them under a stream of cold water to clean them of the preservative products. Cut garlic and parsley and mix in a bowl with virgin olive oil and salt. Put the oil-salt-parsley-garlic “mejunje” in a frying pan and when it begins to fry add the mongetes and mix gently. When they are hot, they are ready to serve.
