With the 2020 Covid lock down, when we had to close Calsot, we learned to extend our season throughout the year. Telling a customer that he/she can have a calçotada in July, and that it is exactly as good as in March, is like saying Merry Christmas in the summer. It brings a smile to his/her face… but it’s cool.
With the “summer calçotada” all are advantages: you ensure the good weather, you lengthen the after-dinner because there is no double shift and you enjoy the same Calçots that you could take in the typical season of February-March-April…
